Overview
The Arizona seasonally adjusted (SA) unemployment rate increased to 3.9% in January 2025 from 3.8% in December 2024. The U.S. SA unemployment rate decreased to 4.0% in January 2025 from 4.1% in December 2024.
Month over month, Arizona’s SA labor force increased by 11,368 individuals, or 0.3%. Year over year, the SA labor force increased by 43,683 individuals, or 1.2%.
