Overview
The Arizona seasonally adjusted (SA) unemployment rate remained at 3.4% in August 2024 from July 2024. The U.S. SA unemployment rate decreased to 4.2% in August 2024 from 4.3% in July 2024.
Month over month, Arizona’s SA labor force increased by 3,283 individuals, or 0.1%. Year over year, the SA labor force increased by 53,276 individuals, or 1.4%.
