Overview

The Arizona seasonally adjusted (SA) unemployment rate decreased to 3.3% in June 2024 from 3.4% in May 2024. The U.S. SA unemployment rate increased to 4.1% in June 2024 from 4.0% in May 2024.

Month over month, Arizona’s SA labor force increased by 6,837 individuals, or 0.2%. Year over year, the SA labor force increased by 58,397 individuals, or 1.6%.

Month over month, from May 2024 to June 2024, Arizona not-seasonally adjusted (NSA) nonfarm employment decreased by 46,300 jobs (-1.4%).
